SUPER SUMMER RECIPES
- POMEGRANATE MINT COOLER
Mint contains methanol which acts like a cooling agent where as pomegranate juice is packed with vitamins A, C, and E
Serving size: 1 glass
INGREDIENTS
- 7 to 8 fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 glass chilled water
- few mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish
METHOD
- In a blender jar, Add 1 cup of pomegranate seeds 2 tbsp lemon juice,7 to 8 fresh mint leaves, ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder, 1 tbsp honey and cumin powder.
- Blend everything till smooth.
- Pour this mixture in a juice strainer.
- Add 1 cup chilled water to the juice.
- Pour in glasses. Garnish with mint leaves or lemon slices and serve pomegranate mint cooler.
- SUGARCANE DELIGHT
Sugarcane juice is rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and manganese that help in restoration of essential salts in the body commonly lost with water in sweat and urine.
Serving Size: 1 glass
INGREDIENTS
- 200ml sugar cane juice
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp grated ginger
METHOD
- Blend all the ingredients
- Use a strainer to filter the juice into a container to remove ginger husk
- Serve with ice
- COCONUT WATER WITH CHIA SEEDS
Coconut water helps in hydration and contains good amounts of potassium and magnesium, chia seeds on the other hand are good source of fiber and hydrophilic which help increase hydration content in the body
Serving size: 1 glass
INGREDIENTS
- 200 ml of tender coconut water
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
METHOD
- Add chia seeds to the tender coconut water and serve
- BROCCOLI CUCUMBER SALAD
Broccoli and cucumber are good sources of antioxidants . Cucumber contains gycolic acid which acts as a cooling agent
Serving size: 1 bowl
INGREDIENTS
- 50 grams broccoli
- 50 grams cucumber
- 10 grams almonds
- 100 grams Low fat yogurt
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients in the bowl and mix well with low fat yogurt
- Refrigerate it for 10 minutes and serve
- MELON JUICE

INGREDIENTS
- 50 grams watermelon
- 1 tsp mint
- 50 grams of muskmelon
METHOD
- Blend all the ingredients together and serve it with ice cubes
